Abergavenny Tennis Club: Davis Cup Legacy

Monday June 13th 3:30pm-4:30pm
Abergavenny Tennis Club are running a free tennis programme for 6 weeks starting the 16th May at 3:45-4:30 which provides kids with a free racket at the end!

Darts Competition – ACE Partnership at Labour Club

Tuesday June 14th 6.30pm-9.30pm
The competition will provide cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place! There are limited spaces so register early. There is a £5 per entry fee for all contenders, sandwiches are provided on the day.

Teams can be registered on the night. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Quiz to start at 7:30 pm.

Medieval Life, Warfare and Merriment at Abergavenny Castle

Saturday June 18th 11am-3pm
Back by popular demand the Freemen of Gwent will be setting up camp in the grounds of Abergavenny Castle on Saturday 18th June to entertain our visitors. You will have the opportunity to see the inside of period tents, meet the re-enactors such as the bowmaker, arrow maker and maille maker. Have a look at the weapons and armour and take a closer look at the spinning and cooking areas. Skirmishes and archery demonstrations will take place during the day.Tickets will be available on the gate – £5 adults, £3 children, £15 Family (2 adults and 2 children).

The Strawberry Spin

Sunday June 19th 10am-3pm
Ride out to a pick your own strawberry farm, starting from St. John’s Square at 10am. Bring a picnic.

7 Corners Cafe Film Friday

Friday 7pm-9pm
The 7 Corners Cafe hold a film night for young people every Friday. Be sure to check out their Facebook page on Friday for a cryptic clue of what will be shown.

The night begins 7pm and finishes 9pm.

Abergavenny Community Centre – Varied Activites

The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

They are based in the old Park Street School opposite the Somerset Arms.

Abergavenny Markets

The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesday 8th from 6am-5pm

There will be a Craft Fair from 9am on Saturday 18th.
