Cartoon Circus Live

Monday July 18th 1:30pm – 3:00pm

All the fun of the circus comes to Crickhowell Clarence Hall on Monday 18th July at 1.30pm when television’s National Clown Theatre stages their all new, interactive, laughter-packed stage show “Cartoon Circus Live”. Combining the comedy of pantomime with the thrill of the circus the 80 minute show features some of Britain’s funniest clowns, traditional slapstick comedy, magic, illusions, balancing, high flying diabolos, cartoon characters, plate spinning, an acrobatic human slinky, puppets, prizes and surprises. There is even a performing piranha.“We are delighted to be coming to Crickhowell for a very special visit” said Charlie Cheesecake the shows chief laughter maker. “We are bringing bucketfuls of laughs & gallons of fun. It’s a show for all the family whatever the weather”.

Life Drawing Workshop at the Abergavenny Youth and Community Centre

Wed Jul 20th 10:00am – 3:00pm

A day drawing from a life model, an opportunity to test your drawing skills and explore the human form. For experienced artist or for those wanting to try something new.
20th July ‘16/ 20th Gorffennaf ‘16

£20.00 plus model cost

Barry Island Coach Trip

Fri Jul 22nd 8:30am – 7:00pm

The ACE have planned a coach trip to Barry Island leaving the bus station at 8.30am. Tickets cost £9 return per person.

Jiveaholics at Linda Vista Gardens – free!!

Sun Jul 24th 2:00pm – 4:00pm

The Jiveaholics are playing in the Linda Vista Gardens, Abergaveny at 2.00 pm on Sunday 24th July 2016. It’s free – sponsored by Abergavenny Town Council! There will be a limited amount of seating and an unlimited amount of grass to sit on – so bring a rug, a picnic, and make a come and enjoy yourselves!

And if you’ve never visited the gardens before, you’re in for a treat!

7 Corners Cafe Film Friday

Friday 7pm-9pm
The 7 Corners Cafe hold a film night for young people every Friday. Be sure to check out their Facebook page on Friday for a cryptic clue of what will be shown.

The night begins 7pm and finishes 9pm.

Abergavenny Community Centre – Various Activites

The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

They are based in the old Park Street School opposite the Somerset Arms.

Abergavenny Market

Markets in the Market Hall

The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesdays.
