This fantastic walking festival involves more than a walk as it not only introduces you to those hidden and not so hidden gems but to some of those that work and care for the beautiful landscape and heritage of Monmouthshire and beyond. There will be 35 plus guided walks, led by friendly walk leaders some specialists in their field, whether this be conservation, wildlife, Geology and heritage.  There is a choice of walks suitable for most abilities including the family and dog owners. As always a mix of our favourites and newly devised walks such as the Last Martyr in Usk, Source to Mouth of the Angiddy River and The Flower Patch around St Briavels to name but a few.  We have again collaborated with South Wales Long Distance Association who will be hosting their event, Offa’s Twisted Wye Kanter from Chepstow on 1Sunday 16th April, which offers 4 challenging walks for 13 – 24 miles where clues have to gathered, a great finale to 6 days of walking. The full programme and how to book is available online at www.walksinchesptow.co.uk.  If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact us by email: chepstowwaw@hotmail.co.uk
