Where everything will be of interest – literature, science, religion, art, music, history, politics, satire, theatre, film and television. Where each will be different. Each will be surprising. Using the intimacy of this lovely venue, conversation will surely flow.

Alastair Laurence, who is curating this series, is a freelance documentary film maker who lives near Abergavenny. In recent years Alastair has made films about The Battle of the Somme, a history of British Photography and the poets John Betjeman, Philip Larkin and TS Eliot. In November, a project about the friendship of Gustav Hols and Ralph Vaughan Williams, is appearing on BBC 2.
