What’s On In Abergavenny May 14th-21st

Here’s a look at the variety of activities and events Abergavenny has to offer from the 14th to the 21st of May!

Pre- Integrated Youth Event search for young talent.

The 7 Corners Cafe are on the look out for talented young people to take part at the I.Y.E Festival in Bailey Park on July 9th.

Just turn up from 1pm-6pm Satruday 14th to share your talent (and maybe some cake!) The centre is through the alley behind Shackleton’s on Frogmore street.

Friends of Castle Meadows: Pond dipping, with Becky Ward.

The friends of Castle Meadows group will be taking one last walk of the spring, looking this time at pond wildlife.

Meet at the Byfield Lane Car Park at 10am Saturday 14th to take part!

 

Abergavenny Tennis Club: DAVIS CUP LEGACY.

The first of a 6 free sessions of tennis for 5-8 year olds kicks off Monday 16th 3.45pm-4.30pm giving young people the chance to give tennis a go without already needing a racket.

T. Rextasy Band – At the Borough Theatre.

The Borough Theatre will be hosting a rock’n’roll concert celebrating the music of Marc Bolan and T Rex. This not to miss gig will be kicking off from 7.30pm on Friday May 20th.

 

Recurring Events:

7 Corners Cafe Film Friday.

The 7 Corners Cafe hold a film night for young people every Friday. Be sure to check out their Facebook page on Friday for a cryptic clue of what will be shown. The night begins 7pm and finishes 9pm.

 

Abergavenny Community Centre – Varied Activites.

The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

They are based in the old Park Street School opposite the Somerset Arms.

Abergavenny Market Markets.

The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.

The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesday 18th from 6am-5pm while the Craft Fair will be from 9am on Saturday.
