AM Fest is Coming to the Castle this July!

Everyone loves a great party atmosphere and with the summer now bathing the town in it’s warm glow, it’s the perfect opportunity to go outside and not only enjoy ourselves but also help support local charities and good causes.

Abergavenny Round Table has now made both possible with the first ever ‘AM Fest’, whose sole intention is raising funds for the local area.

Short for Abergavenny Music Festival, ‘AM Fest is boasting an amazing line up of Bands, singers and Dj’s, it promises a fun packed day out.

Taking place in the grounds of Abergavenny Castle the two staged entertainment with be surrounded by the Beer Bus, Real Ale trailer, Food, Rides and Stalls, all to make the musical day out one to remember.

From 12-7pm the castle will be filled with an eclectic mix of musical genres to appeal to as many tastes as possible. Children are of course welcome as this is a family event that includes discounted family prices and rides and slides for them to enjoy.

Using the same ethos as the Abergavenny Fireworks Display, Abergavenny Round Table decided that the yearly wait between the displays was too long as it is the group’s main form of income for their charity work. With this in mind AM Fest was created in the middle of the year, to raise even more money to put back in to the community.

Entry will be gained through wristbands that can be bought on the day at the gate priced at £5 for Adults and £3 for children and pensioners, £12 for families consisting of 2 adults and 2 children/pensioners.

If you wish to beat the queue ‘AM Fest’ is also placing a special ‘buy before July’ offer allowing £1 off your entry fee.

You can get these from the office of graphic designers I-Deal Designs, who can be found in Cross Street opposite the Town Hall and above Halifax and who graciously donated their time and created the ‘AM fest’ logo and identity free of charge.

Information about the festival can be found on its official facebook page www.facebook.com/amfest1 Or call 07590 672909 to get your tickets.
