Local author Ian Richardson will discuss his debut murder mystery City Crime as well as offering creative writing tips at a free event in Monmouth Community Hub at 5.30pm on Tuesday 27th November.
Born in Washington DC, Ian has spent much of his working life in the UK civil service and now lives happily with his wife near Usk.
City Crime is a murder mystery set in London featuring two dead bodies and several suspects with motives—a neglected wife, a belittled business partner, a scorned mistress and a humiliated daughter who keep two City of London detectives very busy in this compelling twisty page-turner.
Councillor Paul Jordan, Monmouthshire’s cabinet member with responsibility for community hubs said: “We welcome all to Ian Richardson’s talk which promises to be a fascinating evening. Our community hubs offer similar occasions throughout the year and they are all well worth attending.”
Monmouth’s community hub is situated in Whitecross Street. Car parking is available nearby.
