Abergavenny Steam Rally

The Abergavenny Steam Rally takes over Bailey Park, for two days every year over the May Bank Holiday.  Each day sees a full programme of arena events to delight the whole family. Both days include vehicle parades, bands and the ever-popular Tug of War between hundreds of children and a mighty traction engine.

The Abergavenny Steam Rally Co Ltd which has run the show since 2010 hands all profits to the Rotary Club for distribution to worthy causes in the town. It is now the biggest dispenser of charitable money in North Gwent.

The event has steam and vintage vehicles, a children’s funfair, a food village, rural crafts and handicrafts and a wealth of stands selling everything from auto jumble to garden plants and a lot of other stuff in-between.
