Sun May 22nd from 8pm at the Melville Theatre. The combination of truly original compositions and striking reworkings of well known material is fast becoming a hallmark of this highly empathic and musically adventurous trio.

Look Good Feel Better Masterclass

Held at Abergavenny Library on Monday May 23rd 10:00am – 12:00pm this charity event is to offer beauty advice to support people living with cancer.
The event is hosted by the Macmillan in Monmouthshire Cancer Information and Support Service.

Abergavenny Tennis Club: DAVIS CUP LEGACY.

The first of a 6 free sessions of tennis for 5-8 year olds kicks off Monday 16th 3.45pm-4.30pm giving young people the chance to give tennis a go without already needing a racket.

Poetry Upstairs at The Hen & Chicks 2016 Reading Series

Ric Hool will be publicising his new book launch on May 24th 8pm to 10pm upstairs at the Hen and Chicks. Entry is free.

Abergavenny Steam, Veteran & Vintage Rally

For the two days of the year Abergavenny is redolent with the sounds, smells and sights of a bygone era. Mighty steam traction engines take over Bailey Park on the 29th and 30th of May.

Recurring events:

7 Corners Cafe Film Friday.

The 7 Corners Cafe hold a film night for young people every Friday. Be sure to check out their Facebook page on Friday for a cryptic clue of what will be shown.

The night begins 7pm and finishes 9pm.

Abergavenny Community Centre – Varied Activites.

The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

They are based in the old Park Street School opposite the Somerset Arms.

Abergavenny Markets.

The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesday 25th from 6am-5pm while the Farmers’ Market will be from 9am on the 26th.
