Black Mountain Jazz on the look out for helpers for this year’s Wall2Wall Jazz Festival

0

Black Mountain Jazz is a non profit organisation that has been running since 2006 that along with its festival ‘Wall2Wall Jazz’ aims to bring quality live jazz to Abergavenny. They hold several live jazz performances every month at the Melville Centre, to help spread jazz music to locals and visitors from the South Wales area.

This year will be the most ambitious Wall2Wall Jazz Festival yet with performances in the Melville Centre’s Theatre and bar, as well as the return of the previously wildly successful ‘Boogie Party’ held at the beginning of September in the Market Hall, AND a pre-festival meal at the Angel Hotel at the end of August. If you are unable to get tickets in time for this year’s festivities there’s no need to fret, as some of the performances for the first time will be live streamed online (though you can never beat the real thing)!

Current confirmed performers include Gilad Atzmon Orient House Ensemble, Shez Raja and Africa Entsha, who you can get a feel for below.

If you fancy pitching in and helping this year’s festival be a success Black Mountain Jazz are on the look out for volunteers who can help keep things running according to plan. If this sounds like something you would be interested in email info@blackmountainjazz.co.uk and they’ll be able to let you know more.
