Antigoni Goni
Universally praised for her profound artistic sensitivity, her exquisite sound and for her unmatched palette of colors and dynamics, the Greek guitarist Antigoni Goni is internationally acclaimed as a true ambassador of the guitar and a sought-after pedagogue.
Her career blossomed in the mid 90s after winning the Guitar Foundation of America Competition and a contract with Naxos Records. Since then she has performed virtually everywhere, in concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Covent Garden and the Wigmore Hall in London, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Acropolis (Athens) as well as the Philharmonic and the Cappella Sale in St. Petersburg, the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, and Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York to mention just a few.
Her highly successful recordings for Naxos, Koch, and Timespan records have been praised for being “expressively poetic and technically exciting” and have been received with great enthusiasm by the international musical community. Her last CD “Hymn to the Muse” is a collection of original works and transcriptions directly inspired by Greek culture and heritage and as Italian Magazine DOT Guitar states “an exceptional recording which confirms without doubt Antigoni Goni as one of the greatest performers of the guitar on the world stage.”
She is the founder of the Guitar Department at the Pre-College Division of Juilliard School of Music of New York and since 2005 the Professor of Guitar at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. In 2015 the Royal Brussels Conservatory named her “Professor of the year” making her the youngest professor ever presented with the “Madame de la Hault” prize, awarded by Conservatory’s “Patrimonium”.
Antigoni Goni is the founder and artistic director of “The Volterra Project, Summer Guitar Institute”, an annual Classical Guitar workshop that has been called “Groundbreaking” by the International Magazine: “Classical Guitar”.

Amy Norrington’s sincere musicianship and ability to convey her profound love of the music makes her a popular partner in the international chamber music world. Her musical generosity attracts world class musicians to share in unique concert experiences, one of the most renowned being Festival Resonances of which she is the founder and artistic director.
Acclaimed by the press for her honesty and singing sound, Amy enjoys an international career as a chamber musician, soloist and guest principle cellist in orchestras throughout Europe. She collaborates with world class musicians such as Jeremy Denk, Denes Varjon, Philippe Graffin, Alina Ibragimova, Steven Isserlis, Pekka Kuusisto, Aleksandar Madzar and Antje Weithaas and is regularly invited to play at festivals and in all the main concert halls in Europe and beyond. Recent highlights include performances at Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires and the Liszt Academy Hall in Budapest.
Amy is a member of the Fortepiano Trio Talisma and the award winning ensemble Oxalys with whom she has recorded prolifically. She also enjoys collaborations with other chamber ensembles such as Camerata RCO Amsterdam and the Elias Quartet.
Amy Norrington is Professor of Cello at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and of Chamber Music at the Orpheus Institute in Gent. She regularly gives masterclasses at The Royal Academy of Music in London, RNCM and the Brussels Conservatoire.
Amy enjoys mentoring young chamber ensembles and in 2018 she founded the Resonances Chamber Music Academy in Belgium which attracts some of the best music students from all over the world.
