Story Telling at Broadleaf Books

Story-Telling for adults occurs on the first Tuesday of each month 7-8pm in Broadleaf Books, 16 Monk Street, opposite St Mary’s Church. A further story-telling session for children is being organised.
Bird Walk on Castle Meadows
7th January 2017 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join the Friends of Castle Meadows and expert guide Steve Butler on a stroll around Abergavenny’s Castle Meadows, identifying the local bird life. Walk will be subject to weather conditions and wellies may be required. Please meet at Byfield Lane Car Park, Abergavenny at 9.00am. Everyone welcome. Free and no need to book.

The 7 Corners Cafe hold a film night for young people every Friday. Be sure to check out their Facebook page on Friday for a cryptic clue of what will be shown.
The night begins 7pm and finishes 9pm.
Open Mic at the The Farmers Arms
Every Sunday 2016 4:30pm
Join the Farmers Arms every Sunday from 4.30pm for open mic.
Grofield Pub Quiz
Every Sunday 9pm-10pm
Head to the Grofield Pub every Sunday from 9pm to test your knowledge at their weekly quiz.
Abergavenny Community Centre – Various Activites
The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

Markets in the Market Hall
The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesdays.
