Abergavenny Rhinos Athletics Club Comes To Town This May!

The Abergavenny Rhinos Athletics Club is a new organisation that will be coming to the pavilion in Bailey Park on Tuesday 23rd May at 6-7pm for 8-12 year olds.

Their mission is to eventually provide coaching and facilitate athletics participation for all age groups and abilities, and to identify and support those children with an interest in a particular discipline with appropriate coaching and facilities. They also aim to support the development of athleticism in children with a foundation of movement skills transferable to all sports.

Their training includes fundamental athleticism – speed practice – distance running – reflex and reactions – run, jump, throw – multi directional technique – flexibility and posture – aerobic fitness – elastic power – mental preparation – nutrition – life style and personal development.
