Adult Learners’ Week runs from 19th-23rd June, with a packed programme of free taster sessions taking place throughout Monmouthshire.
This is an opportunity to encourage individuals to take part in learning, learning a new skill for a hobby or for up-skilling for work and career development.
With over 25 free taster sessions taking place throughout Monmouthshire it is a perfect chance for individuals to come and have a go, try something new, and find out more about the wide range of courses on offer.
All taster sessions are free and include Art, Crafts, Languages, Computing and much more! There will also be an Exhibitions displaying learners work.
The free taster sessions in Abergavenny will be taking place on Wednesday 21st June, from 5-8pm at the Abergavenny Youth & Community Education Centre, Old Hereford Road.

5-6pm -Introduction to Watercolour
6-7pm -Introduction to Acrylic Painting
6-7pm-Decoupage Pots (Interior Design)
7-8pm-Drawing for Beginners
7-8pm-Gilding Pots (Interior Design)
Language Taster Sessions
5.30-6.30pm –French Beginners
6-7pm -Spanish Beginners
7-8pm – Italian Beginners
