Shared Lives Adult Care Scheme Launches in Mardy Park

Are you a positive person who could make a difference in someone’s life?

Shared Lives is a scheme that offers individuals the opportunity to be supported in carer’s homes and local communities.

In Shared Lives an adult who has care or support needs is matched with a compatible carer.

Carers share their home, family and community life with the person, helping to develop and maintain independent living skills, friendships and connections in their local area.

If you are interested in finding out more, Shared Lives are holding an event on Friday 7th July at Mardy Park in Abergavenny from 10am to 2pm where their team will be available to tell you more about how you can become a Shared Lives Carer.
