The fixtures for the South East Wales Cricket League 2018 season have been released. After winning the Second Division title last season, Abergavenny Cricket Club 1st XI begin their First Division campaign with a home match at Avenue Road against Usk CC on Saturday 28th April. The following weekend sees the club take on Chepstow CC away before returning to Avenue Road for the third game of the season against Tondu. Aber finish the season off in September with two home games against Sudbrook CC and Pontypridd CC.
After suffering relegation on the final day of the 2017 season, Abergavenny Cricket Club 2nd XI start their Second Division fixtures with a home game against Rogerstone Welfare CC on Saturday 5th May. The first away game for the team will be at Crumlin CC the following Saturday.
Wales Minor Counties cricket team will again be playing at the ground in a 3 day match. The game will start on Sunday 8th July with Cheshire CCC being the visitors
