sense-sensibility-2First up on Wednesday 14th August at 7pm are the fun and funny Pantaloons with Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility. They gave their first ever performance at the castle last year and went down a storm, so catch this fast-paced and faithful adaptation of this much-loved Austen classic. From Regency style to 1930s glamour with the costumes, music and the decadent wit of Noel Coward’s Private Lives on Tuesday August 20th at 7pm.

private-lives-1Heartbreak Productions transport the audience to a fashionable hotel in Deauville where two honeymooning couples find that one of life’s coincidence tricks has extraordinary consequences… Their last two shows are especially for family audiences, but adults will find them as much fun as the kids that they are designed for. The incredible Illyria brings a fantastic production of the Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves on Thursday 22nd August at 5pm. With an amazing set and hilarious slapstick and if you are wondering just how 5 actors turn into 40 thieves – you really will be amazed. Not to be missed, an excellent show for everyone! And finally, on Friday 30th August 5pm – another of David Walliams best-selling books for kids Gangsta Granny is brought to the outdoor stage by Heartbreak productions.
