5 Things Happening in Abergavenny This Spring

If you live in Abergavenny, or are just passing through, here is our list of 5 things we think that you should look out for this Spring.

1. Davis Cup Legacy Project at Abergavenny Tennis Club416817_10150609764023473_474414474_n

If you’ve got a younger brother or sister, or have a young child that’s keen to try out tennis, you should take them to the Abergavenny Tennis Club, opposite Abergavenny Thursdays, this May. The tennis club are offering a free 6-week course for 5-8 year olds who have never played before, 3:45-4:30 on a Monday starting May 16th. 2. Abergavenny Steam Rallymaxresdefault

The Abergavenny Steam, Vintage and Veteran Rally will be returning to Bailey Park Sunday May 29th and Monday May 30th for its annual show. The rally is a truly unique event that people of all ages can enjoy. For prices and more information click here.

If you enjoy walks and the countryside, the Friends of Castle Meadows group is holding morning walks from April 16th to May 14th, starting off with Myths and Stories of Plants, with Fiona Ford. A list of walks, dates and times can be found here.
