Tiny Tots Premier Childcare Services 20th Anniversary

Join us and celebrate our 20th Anniversary.
We are proudly celebrating 20 years of Tiny Tots Premier Childcare Services. Please join us during our week of events, taking place at our new Llanfoist Nursery during school half term. All activities are complimentary except for Louby Lou’s Storytelling for which there is a small charge. Booking is advisable but not essential!
The Monmouthshire Games 2017
20th February – 24th February 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
The Monmouthshire Games 2017 will take place during February half term, based on learning new skills, developing confidence, meeting new people and most importantly having fun through sport. Each day will be a full day, packed with a range of sporting activities that children and young people can engage with.
Ages 5-12 Years (Mix age groups)
Prices start from £12/day.
9:00am-3:00pm
Before & After Games Clubs: Breakfast Club from 8.00am. After Games Club until 5:00pm.
Events will take place across the whole of Monmouthshire’s Leisure Centres including Abergavenny, Monmouth, Caldicot and Chepstow.

Children’s Craft Workshop at the Melville Theatre
22nd February 2017 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am
A fun workshop for children aged 4-8, accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. One and a half hours of creative fun to keep youngsters occupied in the middle of half-term week. Price includes all materials and light refreshments. Places must be booked in advance as numbers are limited. £5 per child. Accompanying adults free.
Digital Parenting – Abergavenny Community Centre

Technology is now a big part of all our lives and this is especially true for our children. They seem familiar with the online world that we can find hard to keep up with their knowledge of computer games, apps and social networking.
This is a free event run by therapist and behavioural consultant Nicky Hutchinson, and is suitable for parents/guardians of children any age. Any donations made on the night will be used by the Centre to provide more local opportunities for families and young people.

Three day Oil Painting Course with Alex Brown
26th February 10am-4pm
This course consists of three full day classes, one on the 15th February, one on the 15th March and one on the 26th of April, each running from 10am – 4pm.
Students will be guided through all of the basic techniques needed to master the Art of Oil Painting including tips for composition, various painting techniques and methods for colour mixing.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to improve and progress.
Price includes refreshments such as tea and coffee. Please bring a packed lunch for each class.
This event takes place at the Chapel Cottage Studio, Llanddewi Rhydderch, Abergavenny NP7 9TT.
Black Mountain Jazz – Double Bill / Mansel Davies and Dave Jones Quartet

Singer/guitarist Mansel Davies is a regular and popular performer at South Wales venues with music that covers a wide range of artists, as well as his own original material.
Dave Jones (piano) premieres music from his new album ‘KeyNotes’ with a new line-up featuring Ben Waghorn (saxes and flute), Ashley John Long (bass), and on this occasion Andy Tween (drums).

The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

Markets in the Market Hall
The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesdays.
