Darts Competition – ACE Partnership at Labour Club

6.30pm-9.30pm The competition will provide cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place! There are limited spaces so register early. There is a £5 per entry fee for all contenders, sandwiches are provided on the day.

A Question of Europe (with Baroness Shirley Williams of Crosby)

Tuesday Jun 7th from 7:00pm.
The Priory Centre is hosting an information evening on ‘What the EU has done for us?” led by Baroness Shirley Williams.

A NEW SENSE OF PURPOSE – REVIVING TOWN COUNCIL DEMOCRACY

Friday Jun 10th 6:00pm – 7:00pm The young story tellers of Abergavenny are holding a story telling evening. Come and tell a story or listen to others tell theirs.
Hosted by Daniel Morden, internationally known story – teller, and by Joanna Chambers of Broadleaf Books.

Ride to the Raglan music festival – Abergavenny Cycle Group

40 km 300m (return), B-roads, slightly hilly, Start at 9am at St John’s Square (check for updates – will decide exact timing when we know what is on). For more information check out the Abergavenny Cycling Group’s Facebook page.

Recurring events:

7 Corners Cafe Film Friday.

The 7 Corners Cafe hold a film night for young people every Friday. Be sure to check out their Facebook page on Friday for a cryptic clue of what will be shown.
The night begins 7pm and finishes 9pm.

 

Abergavenny Community Centre – Varied Activites.

The community centre hosts an ever changing and growing series of activities every week day and Saturday.

They are based in the old Park Street School opposite the Somerset Arms.

Abergavenny Markets.

The market is based in the heart of the town and is always busy. The general market is held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Bric-a-Brac antiques fair will be held Wednesday 8th from 6am-5pm.
