Community First Responders are volunteers who attend to 999 calls as a ‘first response’ to offer emergency care quickly. Volunteers can offer life saving support to members of the community. They’ve operated in Abergavenny since 2005.

Homemakers Community Recycling was formed in 2001 by Abergavenny & Crickhowell branch of Friends of the Earth. The charity was initially set up as pilot project to see if there was a need for furniture and other household items that were being landfilled.

This is a regular meditation group, open to all. Every week they gather together to learn mindfulness, simple yoga moves, and meditation.
